The daybreak
A relaxed 30-minute session designed to capture genuine, connected moments, while being quick and easy. Choose an outdoor adventure or a cozy in-home session, in Calgary, and receive 20 thoughtfully edited images that tell your story simply and beautifully.
~ Time, location, and amount of image upgrades are available at anytime.
~ Airdrie and Cochrane also included.

Up to 2 hours of relaxed coverage, multiple locations, outfit changes, and no travel fees throughout Alberta and Yoho National Park — for a fully immersive, go-where-the-day-takes-us experience. You will receive all photos, carefully edited to show the magic of the day.
~ Permits for photo sessions, if required, also included

How will I receive the photos?
Your photos will be delivered to you in an online gallery, typically within two weeks of your session. If delivery times are longer, I will let you know in advance.
If my package has a limited number of photos, do I get to choose which to download?
Yes! Your gallery will always include all photos in colour, and select photos also developed in black and white. Each session produces a different number of images, but on average, you will receive 40-50 photos to choose from in a 30 minute session.
WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST FOR A SESSION?
Sessions are offered at all times of day, but my recommendation for the best light are:
~ Mornings and evenings for outdoor sessions, avoiding mid-day light. Golden hour (about an hour before sunset) is the best time of day for outdoor sessions. Honestly, most portraits you see online are during these times, and for good reason!
~ Indoor sessions are best scheduled mid-day, when the sun is at its brightest. This is location and window dependant of course.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT'S RAINING/SNOWING/TOO COLD, ETC.?
Living in Alberta, we can get any weather, at any time. We will work together to determine if the weather works for both parties, and will move to another time/day, if necessary. Clouds, wind, and cooler weather are great for photos!
CAN I EXTEND THE SESSION ON THE DAY OF?
Yes! Any session without "mini" in the title can be extended at any time, including during the session. I will only book one session a day, which offers flexibility for your schedule, weather, sunrise/sunset timing, and extensions!
How much is extra time per hour?
Extra time is $75 per half hour, or portion of. I will always confirm with you that you would like to commit to extra time before extending.
How much is your travel cost, if not included in my package?
Travel is $60 an hour for transportation time.
Can I order prints or albums from you?
Absolutely!
We do offer convenient, professional, printing through the online gallery you will be delivered. It's easy, has tons of options, and ships directly to you.
I also offer album designing and printing, without you having to do any work - this can be requested from me, and I will provide a quote!
You will have a print release as part of your session contract, so you can also print the photos anywhere you like.
Do you offer seasonally themed and mini sessions?
Yes! I currently offer seasonal minis, typically with a theme, for spring, back to school, fall, and Christmas. You can sign up for our email list below and be one of the first to know about any upcoming mini events, sales, and model calls.
